Party with a Heart
A big thanks to all who supported our first event at the Ocean Club. It was a tremendous success and a good time by all who attended. Give a Better Life Foundation honored the winning charity after hosting an on line "Vote for your cause" contest where you the public got to vote. After a phenomenal 16,000 hits in 49 countries, we were pleased to announce the grand prize winner of $5000 to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Thank you to all of the other 10 charities who participated,including, Aba Learning Centre, Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, First United, Hope International, M.S Society of Canada, Reel Youth, Salvation Army, Homestead, Kids help phone, Camp Kerry.
We could not have done it all without our wonderful board members and volunteers. Thank you all for your hard work and efforts. Thank you to our sponsors and Barefoot wines who donated the first glass of wine to all who attended.
